I’m on record a few times and places that I am generally pretty bad at and only somewhat interested in “syncs” but this one is fun and although it may not account for much to such sync masters as Bill and WJT, I’ll post it for their viewing pleasure, or lack thereof as the case may be.
Late last month WJT posted a dream where he was inexplicably smoking very long cigarettes. In real life he hasn’t smoked so much as a brisket, much less any tobacco products, so it took him off guard to be chain smoking in a dream.
I follow a Twitter/X account that uses Tolkien imagery and stories to advance a conservative political viewpoint, a viewpoint I am in many ways aligned with although I have little trust in any politician or political movement. On occasion this account will call upon the “young captain of Gondor”, Faramir, to ratio what he deems as stupid takes from X accounts that champion the political left.
To ratio someone on X (as I understand it) is to make a comment or repost of their original post that generates more likes than the original post gets. I’ve also seen ratio to mean that a post generates more comments than likes, an indication of an “L” (loss) or stupid take. You can see how this works below:
The original poster, “TheDemocrats”, predictably claimed that Tim Walz was the winner of the VP debate despite widespread commentary in just about every political/media circle that Vance drastically outperformed Walz.
//As an aside, I actually enjoyed the VP debate contrary to any debate involving Trump, Biden, or Harris. By comparison, Vance and Walz came across as pretty thoughtful and civil compared to the other 3. I think Walz is probably not that intelligent compared to Vance, and I find most of his positions pretty extreme, but I think he was at least serviceable in advocating a position with passion and was pretty polite. Back to our “young captain…”.//
So here we have based Faramir “absolutely ripping a heater” which sounds like what WJT was doing in his dream. The little girl in his dream pledged to “make [WJT] honest” in his promise to stop smoking and in the case of this meme, Faramir is deployed to also keep other posters honest by exposing their Ls. He has a pretty good track record too, only failing to achieve the ratio on rare occasions.
Does any of this help solve the riddle of WJT’s dream? I doubt it, but like I said, I’m not very good at this. I just thought this was fun more than anything else. Carry on, young captain. Rip that heater!
UPDATE: based Faramir succeeded and here is the victory lap:
WJT
I can’t believe they’re still using that FORWARD branding. Surely that meme where the letter D is crossed out has been seen by enough people to make it a net liability.
